Residents at HC-One’s
The Beeches care home in Nottingham were over the moon to welcome back the homes hairdresser after such a long time away.
Throughout lockdown, Residents hair had been growing longer and longer, to the point where Colleagues had to keep it trimmed for them. Residents were really thankful for the help from Colleagues who, at short notice, picked up the scissors to help out Residents.
The Beeches Residents missed their salon days, though. Going to the hairdressers, having their hair cut, dried and styled and having a chat with the hairdresser and other Residents.
On 20th May, The Beeches hairdresser returned to the home, to the delight of everyone. Residents were able to feel beautiful again and enjoy a hand massage.
“I feel like my old self, it has lifted my mood,” said one Beeches Resident.
Near the small town of Arnold, Nottingham, Beeches is a friendly, purpose-built care home with 54 beds, offering residential and nursing care.
