Defoe Court care home in Newton Aycliffe has shown its appreciation to one of its regular visitors, Eileen, for her ongoing acts of kindness towards Residents.
Eileen Thomas visits the home regularly to see her husband, Edwin, who moved to Defoe Court in Easter 2018.
Edwin and Eileen quickly became part of the Defoe Court family, as they were keen to get to know all the team, Residents, and their Relatives.
In addition to visiting her husband, Eileen goes above and beyond to visit the other Residents, chatting with them and never failing to put a smile on their faces.
To show their appreciation to Eileen, the Defoe Court team presented her with a beautiful bunch of flowers.
Edwin said: “My wife has always been very thoughtful and a big part of the local community.”
