Day trip for Moreton-in-Marsh Residents to Bourton-on-the-WaterResidents from Oak Tree Mews residential care home, located in the glorious Cotswolds, enjoyed a long-awaited trip to Bourton-on-the-Water, a pretty village on the River Windrush, on 27th March.

Organised by Deputy Manager Janine Larner, and chauffeured by Steve Cook, Chef, two groups of Residents were taken out separately (so that everyone got the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful day outside. Everyone was so eager to go on the trip!

Residents enjoyed feeding the ducks and eating ice-creams by the river, as well as stopping off at a cafe for coffee and donuts.

A daughter of one of the Residents, who joined on the visit, said she was so happy that she was able to help and see her mother enjoying herself so much.

One of the Residents commented, “A really lovely day and the weather was lovely for us too.”

Clare Coombes, Home Manager, remarked, “It’s a pleasure to be able to take our Residents out again and see them enjoying the local attractions.”
