Day at the park helps Residents reminisceA day out to local park helps Residents from HC-One’s Roxburgh House care home Cradley Heath reminisce.

Staff from Roxburgh House organised a day trip to Mary Stevens Park after having conversations with Residents who told stories of spending quality time with their loved ones at the park.

The day was off to a great start with a lovely stroll around the park where Residents met friendly dogs and saw children playing in the water splash park.

After working up an appetite Residents enjoyed a delicious fish and chip lunch followed by a wander to the lake where everyone enjoyed watching the fish jumping and even spotted a heron.

To finish off a wonderful day everyone had a slice of cake and a nice cup of tea as they reminisced about happy memories of days out at the park with their friends and families.

A wonderful time was had by all, with Residents commenting that it brought back fond memories of watching their own children playing in the park.
