91-year old Ruth Taylor of HC One's Daneside Mews has been presented with an award for good citizenship.
Ruth is well known in the village as a reliable helper, particularly in visits to elderly or lonely residents to show her kindess and support.
She was put forward for the Citizenship award at the Cuddington and Sandiway Gala in June of 2017, and was presented with the award at the Full Gospel Church in School Lane, Sandiway, last week.
Ruth was nominated for the award by June Barber last year.
Lee Jones, chairman of the organizing team, said:
“We announced that the citizenship award for 2017 will go to Ruth Taylor for her years of selflessly supporting friends and residents.”
