Residents at HC-One’s Daneside Mews were delighted as they welcomed local primary school children to celebrate their harvest festival in the home.
Residents gathered in the lounge as they enjoyed the children performing a variety of harvest songs for all to hear. Everyone especially enjoyed taking part in one of the songs as it required actions to join in, with the Residents found exciting.
Everyone remarked at how wonderful it was to see the children and welcome them into the home.
Nicola Blackwood, Home Manager, commented: “We have enjoyed having the school children visit us in the home, our Residents find it interesting to chat with them and enjoyed speaking with them after they sang us their wonderful songs.”
