Residents at Daisy Nook care home in Tameside kick-started their festive celebrations with a lovely Christmas dinner at local hotel The Village.
Everyone enjoyed a three course meal, which included soup, roast turkey with all the trimmings, and a selection of desserts, as part of the home’s Christmas celebrations.
After their lunch, Residents enjoyed the hotel’s entertainment and sang along to some of their favourite Christmas songs.
The event was well-attended, with many from the local community coming along to enjoy the festivities, and Residents really enjoyed catching up with family and friends at the hotel.
One Resident commented: “It was a lovely tasty lunch and it really got me feeling all Christmassy.”
