Residents from Rose Court care home took a trip over to Worsley Lodge to participate in a curling competition for the afternoon.
Robert and Irene were the head of the Rose Court team and Susan and Rita were for the Worsley Lodge team, both getting ready for an afternoon of health competition! Other Residents, Relatives and Colleagues sat at the side cheering everybody on as they played.
The Residents took it in turns to try and hit the target area, it was a great game and we can announce the winning side was… Worsley Lodge! All of the Residents were awarded a medal for taking part and got to enjoy a delicious selection of cakes and a cup of tea too.
One of the Residents commented ‘It’s a great way to keep fit and healthy, it was a fantastic game.’
