Laughter could be heard throughout HC-One’s Croft Avenue in Penrith last night as Colleagues stepped up once again to take part in the home’s annual pancake race.
The rules of the race were simple - to run the full length of the lounge area while attempting to toss their pancake three times.
Tensions mounted as the three players lined up to start their race; Home Manager Teresa McGuinness, Kitchen Assistant Jane Harrison, and Housekeeper Maggie Magnay.
Residents laughed and cheered as they watched the Colleagues compete against one another in a hilarious race.
One Resident commented: “It was such fun watching the race. Very funny!”
After a closely contested race, Home Manager Teresa was declared the winner having successfully completed the run while flipping her pancake. She received a coveted Cadbury’s Flake as her prize.
Teresa said: “I was determined to win the Flake!”
