In celebration of National Pizza Day, Cold Springs Park Care Home in Cumbria, brought together residents and visitors for a delicious and fun-filled pizza-themed event. Attendees were treated to a variety of pizza slices, while also learning fascinating facts about one of the world’s most beloved dishes.
Alison Lucan, the Wellbeing Coordinator at Cold Springs Park said:

From traditional cheese and pepperoni to unique specialty toppings, everyone had a slice to savour. In addition to the food, residents were engaged in fun trivia, discovering pizza’s global reach, historical origins, and quirky facts.
