Janet Donaldson celebrated her 96th birthday with loved ones at HC-One’s The Birches care home in Crieff, Perthshire, on Tuesday 7th January.
Born in Musselburgh in 1934, Janet worked as a Bank Teller for the Royal Bank of Scotland and married Ian Donaldson. Janet enjoys doing jigsaw puzzles and knitting in her spare time and attributes good clean living to reaching her 96th birthday.
To celebrate her birthday, Janet was joined by friends, family and fellow Residents at The Birches, everyone sang Happy Birthday to Janet and gave her gifts and good wishes.
The Birches Home Manager, Janette Matias said: “I am so pleased were able to help Janet celebrate her birthday, it was a wonderful day for all and the smile on Janet’s face was heart-warming.”
