The Residents at HC-One’s Primrose House care home in Haslington, Cheshire have been keeping fit and healthy by taking part in home exercise classes during lockdown.
Wellbeing Coordinator Pauline Roberts organises a regular gentle exercise class to keep Residents active.
Residents can remain seated or can stand if they prefer to take part in the gentle stretches and a little bit of light cardio to get the muscles moving and the heart pumping.
The Residents can join in and have a laugh with Pauline and one another. One Resident, Eileen Bearpark, enjoys it so much that she hasn’t missed a single class since they started over a month ago.
Primrose House Home Manager, Alison Brown, said: “It’s always a joy to see the Residents getting involved with activities. Pauline has done a fantastic job.”
