Harvest Festival preparations were underway at Yew Trees care home in Dukinfield as Residents enjoyed a creative craft session.
The day began with a morning prayer and the reading of a Harvest Festival poem, before everyone sang the well-known hymn: All Things Bright and Beautiful.
After Residents finished their much-loved sing along, they grouped together to make some beautiful apple bird feeders, which have been hung around the garden to attract more wildlife to the home.
Residents thoroughly enjoyed the craft session, with one Resident commenting: “I loved making the bird feeders, I can’t wait to see more feathered visitors passing by our garden.”
