Residents at HC-One’s Douglas View care home in Hamilton have come up with a new business idea, creating personalised wine glass and other crafty items.
Members of the care team at Douglas View have been helping Residents to create numerous items which they can sell to visitors, all of the money from the purchases goes directly into the Residents Comfort Fund.
A popular item is personalised wine glasses that are decorated at the request of the buyer, Residents have also enjoyed making Valentine’s Day cards for their loved ones and to sell.
