Cradley Heath care home welcomes unexpected visitorHC-One’s Roxburgh House care home kindly opened their doors as they welcomed a lost member of the local community.

An older gentleman found himself lost and confused, so was welcomed into the home. Colleagues offered him with a warm beverage and slice of cake, before contacting the local police station to attend and provide some assistance.

Two policemen then attended the home and assisted the gentleman in finding his way home.

The policemen thanked Colleagues for all they had done in helping the gentleman, remarking they would try and visit the home for a warm drink upon passing one day soon.

Linda Wilkes, Home Manager, commented: “It’s wonderful to have such a nice connection with our local police, and for our Colleagues to have helped this gentleman is sentiment enough.”
