A Resident at HC-One’s Roxburgh House care home decided to accompany a Colleague in the home, as they both went out for lunch together.
After Colleagues noticed Gail seeming less interested in leaving the home, even after they repeatedly tried to encourage her, Gail decided she would like to go out for lunch, and so accompanied Colleague, Jane, as they visited a local restaurant to enjoy lunch together.
Gail remarked at how lovely the food and company was, and how much she enjoyed herself during the afternoon.
Linda Wilkes, home manager, commented: “It has been lovely to see Gail enjoying herself after she had not wanted to go out much recently.”
