Cradlehall enjoy an action packed weekHC-One’s Cradlehall in Inverness has enjoyed an action packed week with a visit from Magician Dean Spruce and Speyside Falconry.

On the 3rd April there was magic in the air at Cradlehall Care Home as Residents, staff, family and friends all enjoyed a magic show by Magician Dean Spruce.

Dean kept everyone entertained with engaging magic tricks and produced a beautiful bouquet flowers from thin air. The Residents had a great time selecting themes and making balloon shapes.

Speyside Falconry then visited on the 5th April where the Residents confidently handled the birds of prey assisted by Claire the bird handler.

Claire made sure to visit each Resident to let them see and handle the birds, which everyone really enjoyed.
Seeing the birds spurred conversation between many of the Residents, including one of the Resident’s reminiscing about how their father had birds when they were younger.

Cradlehall’s Home Manager, Elsbeth Russell commented:

“It was lovely to see the Residents interacting with the magician and Speyside Falconry’s birds. Everyone had a great time.”
