Residents and Colleagues at HC One’s Brandon House care home have been visited this year by a witch!
Everyone at the Coventry care home has helped in creating ‘the witch of Brandon House’.
The witch would also like to share her very own poem:
I am the witch of Brandon House
My favourite stew is Squirrel and Mouse
Please don't think that I am a bore
But please don't knock on our door
You can't come in this year because of the Pandemic
We are protecting our people like Pam and Derek
Please bring your pumpkins for me to see
Lay them on the ground all around me!!
The home is hoping that the local school children and community will bring their pumpkins and display in the front garden for everyone to see to create a fantastic display.
The home manager Sheryl David said “it’s a shame this year that the Residents can't see the children dress in their Halloween outfits, but we thought this would be nice.”
