A married couple were reunited at HC One’s The Willows care home in Hinckley after spending two months apart.
Carol Pratt, who has lived at The Willows since the start of 2018 was separated from her husband Colin after he suffered a stroke which resulted in him spending two months in hospital and rehabilitations facilities.
The couple were reunited recently when Colin arrived at The Willows, their smiles when they saw each other for the first time in two months said it all.
Although Colin is unable to communicate verbally, his reaction when he saw Carol again was lovely and the staff plan to make their time together at The Willows very special and memorable for them both.
The special moment touched all of the staff at The Willows, they said it reminded them that moments like that is why they do what they do.
