Couple celebrates 50 years of marriage in Cradley Heath care homeJanet and Roy Tandy celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary at HC-One’s Roxburgh House care home in Cradley Health on Thursday 8th March.

Staff at Roxburgh House pulled out all the stops to ensure that the happy couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, the lounge was decorated and Head Chef Louise baked a delicious cake and prepared an afternoon tea party. 

The couple sat in Janet’s favourite spot in the lounge where they were presented with a card and beautiful bouquet of flowers from everyone at Roxburgh House. 

They toasted their special anniversary with a glass of wine. Janet commented that it was lovely to be able to celebrate such a special occasion together.

Janet and Roy were married at St Ervins Church and had their reception at St Giles Church in Netherton, the happy couple visited Bournemouth for their honeymoon and stayed in The Garden House.
