County Durham Care Home Enjoys Success in CQC ReportHC-One’s Beaconsfield Court Care Home in Barnard Castle, County Durham, is celebrating having received a glowing report from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in all areas. 

The team at Beaconsfield Court were delighted to have received an impressive CQC report that rated the home as “Good”. The report demonstrates that the home is providing high standards of care for Residents and is Caring, Safe, Effective, Responsive and Well-Led.

The inspectors were full of praise for colleagues at Beaconsfield Court Care Home, highlighting the ‘kind and caring ways’ in which they provide care for Residents. The report also noted that the atmosphere at the home was calm and caring, and that the relatives of Residents were very happy with the level of support they received from the Beaconsfield Court team, with one Resident saying: "I find them very good. They will pop in and ask me if I am alright." Another person commented, "Very friendly, nothing is a trouble."

Relatives also told us they were happy with their family member's care with one relative saying: "I couldn't wish for our dad to be in a better place" and "He is happy, so we are happy." 

Another relative gave their view about the staff at Beaconsfield Court: "Brilliant, they love our dad to bits, really do." Another relative commented, "It is an extremely committed, excellent team.”
