Residents from HC-One’s Greenways Court in Consett have donned their chef hats as they took over the kitchen to cook a variety of foods.
Residents took part in all sorts of different cooking activities, baking pastries and helping prepare whilst some enjoyed cutting the carrots and potatoes.
Greenways Court Resident Betty Welford said: “We have all had a really good laugh and it is always nice for us to join in and help the staff as they are all so lovely.”
Staff and Residents all across HC-One have been working together along with their local communities to lift everyone’s spirts during this unprecedented time.
Greenways Court Home Manager Tina Ayton said: “It’s been a great day for all of the Residents who were involved, they have had a really good laugh.”
It’s amazing to see my team and the Residents at Greenways Court all band together to keep the morale up during these worrying times. I am so proud of them all.”
