Team members from HC-One’s Greenways Court care home in Consett spent Saturday 30th November on the streets of Newcastle-upon-Tyne helping a local charity provide food and clothing to homeless people.
Katie Armstrong, Tina Ayton, Pauline Munro, Fran Richardson, Cath Padfield and Diane Elliott, team members from Greenways Court and Tina’s family members, Ryan and Charlie Ayton offered a helping hand the Newcastle Street Angels.
The group had collected warm items including coats and blankets as well was raising money for other items such as toiletries and food, which they took with them on Saturday 30th November to hand out to those who are currently nowhere to live.
Residents at Greenways Court were pleased to hear that the team are supporting those who are less fortunate and encouraged them to continue their efforts.
