Doreen Donaghy, a Resident at Greenways Court care home in Consett – part of HC-One, the kind care company – was overjoyed when she met her great granddaughter, seven month old Delphi for the first time on Wednesday 28th August.
Daniel, Doreen’s grandson and his wife, Ericka live in Sydney, Australia and welcomed their first child, Delphi into the world seven months ago. They were thrilled when they were able to bring Delphi to meet her great grandmother Doreen at Greenways Court on a visit to England.
The family visit was a heart-warming and emotional moment for Doreen and her loved ones, she was thrilled to be able to meet little Delphi and enjoyed lots of lovely cuddles with her.
