Community spirit shines high at Northwich care homeDaneside Court Residents and colleagues have been up to all things Christmassy this week.

Firstly, the home want to thank Dan Pender and Lee Mackenzie of Helping Hands, for the kind support from the amazing community of Northwich. They have delivered gifts not only for Residents, but also for colleagues as well, which they were delighted with.

Home Manager, Samantha Farahat, said, “The feedback from everyone has been amazing and we can`t thank the community enough for their act of kindness. It means so much to everyone here at Daneside Court.”

The gifts are much appreciated by everyone and will help to lift the spirits during this difficult time. Its feels so special to know that Dan and Lee and the local community are thinking of the home and going that extra mile to help in any way possible.

This means such a lot to everyone at Daneside Court.

Janet Simmons, of Daneside Court, remarked, “Wow thank you so much for your kindness Dan and Lee. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!”

Dan Pender said, “It’s the whole community that assists from ‘Crafty Stitches’ who are amazing to the community of Northwich.”

Also, this week was the local Northwich community light up for Daneside Court.

Daneside Court colleagues go that extra mile and give a little bit of light and enjoyment for Residents, their families and staff by lighting up the care home outside.

Samantha remarked, “Colleagues asked the local community for support, and requested Christmas donations. They couldn’t have been more pleased with the response. Again, the generosity of the local people was amazing and they had plentiful of supplies.”

Everyone got the decorative lights outside helped to bring joy and smiles to everyone. In doing so, they discovered that the lights can been seen across the river Dane bringing joy to the nearby homes and people passing by.

In other news, there has been even more kindness shown to the home who had the joy of receiving 101 Pink Roses; which left some Colleagues speechless.

The lovely donation of 1001 Pink Roses was shared with Residents and colleagues who were absolutely thrilled to receive such wonderful flowers, what a wonderful gift to receive and gesture.
One Colleague said, "We don't know of the person who kindly donated them, but we want to say Thank you, they gave everyone in our care home so much pleasure.!"

“It is such a wonderful sight to be seen and we can’t thank the local community enough, and work colleagues who are helping to shine a beautiful light upon us here at Christmas time, helping to make it special for us all to enjoy. My team rock!”
