Residents at a HC-One care home welcomed the local community as well as loved ones to their annual summer fair, with stalls in the garden and ground floor area.
Friends and family descended on Kirkwood Court for the seasonal celebration, taking part in a tombola, raffle, outdoor games and stalls for children including tin can alley, hook-a-duck, giant noughts and crosses and hula hoops.
A great selection of treats were available, including cakes, biscuits and scones all made by the Chef and cakes donated by Relatives.
Special entertainment was provided bythe lovely Josie, the local community nurse who came and performed a selection of well-known songs including Doris Day.
A great day was had by all with £283 raised for the Resident’s fund.
