Avon Park care home in Limpley Stoke, Bath, was delighted to host an amazing Christmas Fair for Residents, Relatives and friends in the local community to enjoy.
Residents at Avon Park have enjoyed taking part in arts and crafts sessions over the past few weeks to make beautiful creations to sell at the Christmas Fair.
The home’s Christmas stall showcased homemade cards with marbled autumn leaves, bookmarks, delicious chocolate lollipops and intricately-detailed gingerbread biscuits.
The funds raised by the stall will contribute to the home’s most recent project, which involves creating a sensory garden to enhance wellbeing of Residents living with dementia.
The day was a great success, as Home Manager Sara MacCormack said: “We were delighted with the number of people attending our Christmas Fair. It was lovely to see so many smiling faces around the home as people bought treats and gifts from our stall.”
