Community enjoys an action packed summer fair at care homeGuisborough community joined Residents at HC-One’s Park House Care Home for an afternoon of fun at their summer fair.

Friends and family descended on Park House for the seasonal celebration, where they could browse the various stalls, including a fantastic homemade cake stall, and take part in the various activities on offer, including coconut shy, hook a duck and the big cheese.

Entertainment was provided by the fantastic Goodfellas Duo, where they had our Residents, visitors and guests up and dancing and they couldn’t leave without taking a shot at the coconut shy with some brotherly rivalry.

Also taking her best shot at the coconut shy was 4-year-old Nevaeh who showed her grandma the ropes.

Park House raised £350 on the day, which is going straight into the Resident’s comfort fund.

Michelle, Deputy Manager at HC-One’s Park House commented:

“We had such a fantastic day and I’d like to thank everyone for making the day such a success.

When speaking to our Residents and visitors, they all said what a lovely time they were having which was amazing to hear.”
