Residents at Greenways Court Care Home took full advantage of the long summer by hosting an action packed garden party for the Consett community.
Friends and family descended on the home for the seasonal celebration, taking part in a Tombola, face painting, a teddy bear stall as well as throwing the sponge at the great sport who volunteered to go in the stocks.
Everyone also enjoyed a range of refreshments whilst taking part in the activities, to keep cool in the heat.
Altogether, the summer fair raised over £400, which is going straight to the Resident’s comfort fund.
