Residents at a HC-One care home took full advantage of the long summer by hosting an action packed garden party for the Doncaster community.
Friends and family descended on The Beeches Care Home for the seasonal celebration, taking part in a Hawaiian themed event including a BBQ, Ukele Entertainment and fancy dress whilst enjoying tempting refreshments to keep cool in the heat.
Bea Gibbons, Home Manager at HC-One’s The Beeches commented:
“The Hawaiian day went really well and we will definitely be doing another next summer it was a brilliant day and so proud of the team at The Beeches.”
The Beeches is located in Beech Road and offers short and long-term care to elderly members of the community needing Residential and Residential Dementia Care.
The Beeches is dedicated to the wellbeing of residents and encourages them to take an active role in home life. HC-One works closely with residents and their families to put on a host of activities that suits residents’ interests and keeps them engaged in the community.
