Community enjoys a sizzling summer party at care homeResidents at a HC-One care home took full advantage of the long summer by hosting an action packed garden party for the Nottingham community.

Friends and family descended on Willow Brook care home for the seasonal celebration, taking part in a raffle, tombola, face painting, bouncy castles, stocks, cake and craft stalls. Tempting food and refreshments were provided for everyone to tuck in to.  

The Mayor opened the Summer Fayre and stayed to take part in the festivities, a local singer and brass band provided entertainment throughout the day.

Everyone had a wonderful day, with Residents commenting on how nice it was to see so many people enjoying themselves. 

Willow Brook Home Manager, Marie Duke Parker commented:

“What a great day, it was lovely to see all of the Residents smiling and socialising with their loved ones and visitors.

“Thank you to my Colleagues for working hard to create a truly memorable day, we managed to raise an impressive £310 for the Resident’s Comfort Fund.”
