Community enjoys a sizzling summer party at care homeResidents at a HC-One care home took full advantage of the long summer by hosting an action-packed garden party for the Manchester community.

Friends and family descended on Brookdale View care home for the seasonal celebration, with a variety of fulfilled activities, including an incredible performance from a local singer, a visit from the Greater Manchester Police and a carnival-style photo booth which Residents had helped put together ahead of the Summer Fayre.

Residents enjoyed trying on the different police hats and clothing as well as looking at the police car. One Resident, who was born and raised in France was touched when the entertainer spoke to them in French, they later commented to the team on how lovely it was to speak in their native tongue again.

Brookdale View Home Manager, Laura Riley said:

“What an amazing day, the sun was shining and most importantly, the Residents had a lovely time together surrounded by loved ones.

“Thank you to all my Colleagues for working hard to organise such a wonderful Summer Fayre.”
