Brenda, Kathleen and Jean, to name a few, were the main residents who took part in Knowles Court care home’s 'Colour the Queen' competition.
Colleagues at the home arranged for a competition to mark The Queen’s birthday this year. Residents really enjoy watching and doing anything to do with The Queen as they regard her highly, so this was the perfect activity for them.
Most of the residents on Fairfax community were involved and all enjoyed the jolly competitiveness surrounding the colouring competition.
Resident Jean commented, “We love a bit of banter and competition”
“I thought mine was the best”, Resident Brenda had replied
They really enjoy watching and doing anything to do with The Queen, they regard her very highly.
Home Manager, Sam Whinray, said “It’s lovely that the Residents find something that they can thoroughly enjoy”.
