Colleagues at Fir Trees stop the clock for Residents
Caring Colleagues at HC-One's Fir Trees are trialling a new initiative where once a day, everyone stops what they are doing to spend 40 minutes with the Residents.

Today it was time for singing and dancing as Residents and Colleagues partied in their pyjamas.

Even Residents who are unable to leave their beds, such as 101 year old George were able to join in the fun and the home took the party to him.

Residents loved this extra time with their favourite carers and look forward to it each day now.

Resident Vera commented:

“These songs are very good!”

Nicole, Home Manager added:

"It was wonderful to see the Residents faces light up and the staff enjoying time with the Residents. This is a wonderful scheme that will allow us to provide even kinder care.”
