Clarendon Hall’s Harvest Festival celebrationsAfter all of the hard work last week making the corn dollies, Colleagues and Residents at HC-One’s Clarendon Hall residential and nursing care home, in Humberston, now have their very own scarecrow.

Today, the Harvest celebrations were in full swing with everyone joining in and singing a few hymns. Some Residents talked about Harvest Festivals they remember from the years past.

Chef Julie Williams, who is pictured with the scarecrow, made a fruit platter too, which went down well with everyone!

Staff, including Wellbeing Coordinator Hayley Sandison, commented on how lovely the spread looked and Residents enjoyed making the corn dollies the best.

Robin, who lives at the home said, “I really enjoyed it!”

Nicola Walker, Home Manager, remarked, “It was a lovely way to round off the week of preparations.”
