HC-One’s Clarendon Hall care home in Grimsby, Lincolnshire, is celebrating the work of its Home Manager for helping a Resident organize a lovely birthday surprise.
Nicola Walker went the extra mile to organize a birthday card for one of the Residents to give to her daughter on her special day.
She was nominated for HC-One’s Kindness in Care Award by her colleagues and was presented with the award by the home’s Area Director, Margaret Barton.
The company’s Kindness in Care Awards programme was launched to recognize the kind efforts of colleagues, and the impact that they have on the lives of Residents and their loved ones.
Nicola said: “At HC-One, we go the extra mile to ensure Residents receive the kindest care possible. I’m delighted to have received this award, as it’s truly a pleasure to be able to put a smile on our Residents’ faces.”
The Resident said: “It is so nice when a member of staff gets recognized for all the hard work that they do.”
