Residents at Bishopsgate Lodge care home in County Durham enjoyed an afternoon of karaoke to get them in the festive spirit.
While some Residents enjoyed listening to others’ renditions of famous Christmas hits, a few in particular showed off their talent to their audience.
Residents Nora and Stan received a standing ovation from everyone listening after performing a lovely duet to Christmas classic, Rocking around the Christmas Tree.
Gisela, a Resident at the home, said: “I had such a brilliant day trying out karaoke for the first time ever.”
Lesley Duff, Wellbeing Coordinator at Bishopsgate Lodge, said: “It warms my heart when I see the staff and Residents coming together to enjoy days like this.”
