Christmas fun at Roseberry Court care homeResidents at Roseberry Court, residential and residential dementia care home in Redcar, have been getting in the Christmas spirit with lots of Christmas music.

A singing Santa came along to Roseberry Court to sing for all the Residents. He song lots of classic Christmas songs which the Residents were able to join in.

All of the Residents loved it, Helena, a Resident, said, “That was fantastic.” Margaret, another Resident, added, “I loved every minute.”

On the 21st of December, a fantastic singer came along to the home to perform for all the Residents.

Claire Louise is a brilliant local singer and the Residents were thrilled to invite her along for a special performance. Claire sang a mixture of vintage 50's and 60's songs as well as Christmas carols.

All Resident's enjoyed a mince pie and hot drink. Most Residents were able to join in with the songs and can remember singing the same songs in years past. Fred, a Resident at Roseberry Court, said, “It took me back to my youth.”

Kelly Levick, Care Home Manager, remarked, “The smile on the Residents faces said it all! They were having the best time and getting into the Christmas spirit.”
