
For Gittisham House care home, in Devon, Colleagues have been trying to spread some Christmas joy with the Residents and Colleagues in what has been a difficult year for all across the country.
The wellbeing team, including Jill Watts and Marie Bourne have been busy with the Residents making and decorating the Christmas cake; all involved had a great time.
“This cake looks wonderful!” One Resident had commented
On Tuesday the home threw a Christmas party, with music and dancing, games and of course a tipple and goodies for all!
The Residents loved the singing and dancing and all the tasty treats on offer.
“I like a mince pie, very Christmassy,” Resident John Wright said.
“It's so nice, after the year we have all had, to have a lovely party to cheer everyone up,” remarked Home Manager, Marita Westaway.
