Christmas cheer for all to hear at HC-One Christmas fayreA sprinkle of Christmas cheer filled the corridors at HC-One’s Park House Care Home in Guisborough, Cleveland, as Residents welcomed in the festive season with a fayre.

Park House opened it’s doors to members of the community, selling homemade gifts such as cakes, knitted garments, Christmas cards and gift tags, whilst enjoying seasonal hot drinks and nibbles.

A raffle and tombola were also on offer and two special guests paid Park House a visit, entertainer Norma Thompson and Santa Claus himself. Little Caleb, the great grandson of Resident Tess, was the first to visit Santa with his mummy.

Altogether the home raised an amazing £310 for the Resident’s comfort fund.

Alishia Calvert, Home Manager at HC-One’s Park House Care Home, commented:

“Christmas is a time when people young and old should come together to celebrate the festive season. Everyone was in good spirits and enjoying what was on offer and we are delighted at the turnout.

“Thank you to everyone who attended, it really got us counting down the days to Christmas at Park House.
