A sprinkle of Christmas cheer filled the corridors at HC-One’s St Clare’s Court Care Home in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, as Residents welcomed in the festive season with a fete.
St Clare’s Court opened its doors to members of the community, selling homemade gifts on a variety of stalls ran by supportive local businesses, whilst enjoying seasonal hot drinks and nibbles.
Altogether, a fantastic £340 was raised on the day, which is going to the Resident’s comfort fund.
Michelle Jones, Home Manager at St Clare’s Court, commented:
“Christmas is a time when people young and old should come together to celebrate the festive season. Everyone was in good spirits and enjoying what was on offer and we are delighted at the turnout.
“Thank you to everyone who attended, it really got us counting down the days to Christmas at St Clare’s Court.”
