A sprinkle of Christmas cheer filled the corridors at HC-Falstone Manor Care Home in Roker, Sunderland, as Residents welcomed in the festive season with a fair.
Falstone Manor opened its doors to members of the community, selling homemade gifts whilst enjoying seasonal hot drinks and nibbles.
Alison Hunter, Home Manager at Falstone Manor Care Home commented:
“Christmas is a time when people young and old should come together to celebrate the festive season. Everyone was in good spirits and enjoying what was on offer and we are delighted at the turnout.
“Thank you to everyone who attended, it really got us counting down the days to Christmas at Falstone Manor.”
Residents enjoyed shopping at the different stalls. Irene Scrafton commented:
“I felt like I was shopping at South Shields market, which is where I used to visit a lot.”
