A sprinkle of Christmas cheer filled the corridors at HC-One’s Drummohr Care Home in Wallyford, Musselburgh, as Residents welcomed in the festive season with a bazaar.
Drummohr opened it’s doors to members of the community, selling homemade gifts, whilst enjoying seasonal hot drinks and nibbles. Santa Claus himself even made an appearance as he stopped in to visit all of the children and Residents.
So far, Drummohr have raised an incredible £410.82 and are still receiving donations and selling raffle tickets, where the prize is a fabulous hamper. The money will all be going to the Resident’s comfort fund.
HC-One’s Area Director, Julie Geddes commented:
“Christmas is a time when people young and old should come together to celebrate the festive season. Everyone was in good spirits and enjoying what was on offer and we are delighted at the turnout.
“Thank you to everyone who attended, it really got us counting down the days to Christmas at Drummohr."
