Christmas celebrations are underway at Grimsby care homeFestive celebrations are underway at Clarendon Hall care home in Grimsby as Residents made their very own Christmas tree.

After discussing ways in which the home could be decorated for Christmas, Residents decided it would be nice to make something to display in the home’s outdoor garden, so Colleagues at the home set to work on making this wish come true.

Using twigs collected from the garden, Residents got to work on creating the Christmas tree, covering the twigs in white paint and glitter.

Residents helped to create decorations to be hung on the tree, which included painted fir cones and homemade baubles, as well as transforming the plant pot into a sparkling planter.

The afternoon was filled with stimulating activities for all involved, as many Residents admired the finished results.

Bessie, a Resident at Clarendon Hall, said: “I can’t wait for my family to see what we have made.”
