Residents at HC-One’s Aston House care home were delighted to welcome children from the local Botwell Primary School as they performed a variety of Christmas carols for everyone to enjoy.
The children performed many of the Residents’ favourite Christmas songs in the home’s dining room, with Residents and their Relatives happily singing along to the music before thanking the children, their parents and teacher for bringing joy to all during the festive season.
After the performance, the children enjoyed a delicious feast of snacks and juice, then kindly handed each Resident a gift before leaving the home, which was gratefully received by all.
Home manager, Seema Jose, remarked: “Everyone was so pleased with the children’s singing, it’s a wonderful way to promote involvement with the wider community, and we look forward to hopefully welcoming the children back to the home to sing.”
