Residents at
Yew Trees residential memory care home, in Greater Manchester, have had a wonderful Christmas
On Christmas Day, Residents enjoyed opening their presents and listening and singing along to Christmas tunes. Then they indulged in a three-course meal, followed by wine and chocolates. The day ended by watching a movie before some more music and a buffet tea
On Boxing Day Yew Trees’ very own ‘Busby the Four-Legged Elf’ came to visit Residents, who loved to see him dressed up! Some took him for a walk down the corridor and loved to have him on their knee
One Resident said, “He looks lovely in his elf suit.”
Lynda Bulley, Wellbeing Coordinator said, “Busby comes in nearly every other Sunday and by Tuesday, they want to know when he’s back in next!”
