Residents at
Roseberry Court, residential and residential dementia care home in Redcar, have been busy preparing the home ready for the Chinese New Year celebrations.
Over two days, Residents very busy making lots of decorations to be displayed in the care home over Chinese New Year which is taking place on the 22nd of January.
Residents throughout the home came together to make lanterns, fans and working together to decorate the communal areas in the home.
Everyone enjoyed getting together socially, crafting and enjoying a lovely drink and snack. Whilst crafting the Residents chose to use the Alexa and play lots of songs from the 50’s.
Resident, Fred, remarked, “Our art is making the walls so bright.”
Kelly Levick, Care Home Manager, added, “We have found one activity gives everyone a burst of energy with lots of singing, dancing and laughing.”
