The Residents at HC-One’s Cedar House care home in Harefield had a lovely day this weekend celebrating Chinese New Year and the year of the ox.
The dining room was decorated beautifully for a Chinese-themed lunch with all the Residents’ favourite dishes on the menu.
After tucking into a feast, Residents enjoyed an afternoon of crafts or games, including bingo and quizzes, while they listened to traditional Chinese music.
Residents were then treated to a Chinese New Year festival from the comfort of home as they watched the magnificent display on TV.
Cedar House Home Manager, Patience Sibanda, commented: “The care team and Residents really liked the decorations and enjoyed watching the dragons dancing on TV.”
