Children from local nursery write to Residents at Fife care homeResidents at HC-One’s Woodside Court Care Home in Glenrothes, Fife, enjoy regular visits from the children at Carleton Nursery.

This week, Woodside Court received a letter from the children at Carleton Nursery with some drawings from the children. They have asked if the Residents would write back to them so that their teacher can read them out in class.

One Resident, Ian Terris, used to work in a coal mine and kindly donated a book that he wrote called ‘Misty the Pit Pony’.

The Residents love interacting with the children and listening to their stories, Catherine Carroll commented:

“It is magic when the children visit, it makes me so happy.”

Beba Graham, Home Manager at Woodside Court, commented:

“It is lovely to see the children visit our home, it makes everyone smile and it’s nice to be involved within the local community.”
