HC-One’s Park House care home in Guisborough took part in its third year of a chick hatching programme.
Residents and team members at Park House received ten eggs to care for in an incubator, everyone was delighted when all of the eggs hatched and they welcomed six girls and four boys to the world.
Everyone got involved in caring for the chicks and took their responsibilities very seriously, the chicks also visited Residents who are unable to leave their bedrooms which was a delight for all.
Park House Resident, Elsie commented: “New life is such a wonderful thing.”
Park House Home Manager, Julie Woods said: “It was heart-warming to see how much everyone cared for the little chicks, we look forward to caring for some new chicks again next year.”
